Considering my last post, where nothing was going right at the beginning of my time at home, I obviously was having a break down. I don't handle change well sometimes. But the funny thing is, change happens ALL the time. So might as well roll with the punches.
In the 24 hours that have past since my arrival in McComb, things have turned around. I did spend a considerable amount of time washing and sorting my clothes in order to put them away or donate to a garage sale. However, Max now knows how to "sit," "come," and somewhat "stay." I've taken it upon myself to make training him my full time job since I don't have one otherwise. Also, my parent's are wanting to do some updating to our house, and I'm more than willing to help with that. These are the things that will occupy my time until I a) find a job, b) Max won't learn anything else, or c) the house will be finished. That last one might take more time than expected, but hopefully things can get done while I'm here!
Oh, some good news-I got a new mattress today as well as a new laptop chord! Tomorrow will bring putting together the bed frame and means my dream of watching Netflix in my new, more spacious bed will finally come true!
These are the things in which my life is updated. Maybe tomorrow I'll teach Max to "roll over" and "shake" while perfecting the "stay" command. Here's hoping.
